Stereographoscope - 1865
MSC113 - Found in the homes of the more well-to-do, this stereographoscope was manufactured between 1860 – 1870. It was used for viewing stereoviews, postcards, photos, CDVs or any other flat image that one wished to magnify. It is 12” wide X 24” long. Collapsed, it is about 6” high and opens up to a maximum of 32” high, dependent upon it’s adjustable setting. This was one of the largest stereographoscopes made.
