There is no minimum charge.
All items are rented by the week.* If an item is picked up on Wednesday, it must be returned, on or before the following Tuesday, to avoid being charged a second week fee. Items rented on Monday may be returned the following Monday before 11:00AM (no need to race it back on Sunday).
*Some items may be rented for a 2 day period. If you need an item for 1-2 days and you can return the item within 48 hours of taking possession of it, you may rent it for 50% of the weekly fee. There is a $30 minimum order for this service and it must be arranged for in advance. You cannot schedule an item for a week, then bring it back within 48 hours to get the discount. I need notice, in advance, of your plans (or potential plans). Contact questions@htfprops.com to find out for which items this service is available.
Payment may be made with cash, check, credit card or PayPal.
1st week fee = 100%, 2nd week= 50%, 3rd week = 50%, 4th week = no charge, 5th week=50%. The extra weeks, beyond week 1, must be arranged for 7 days in advance. You cannot tell me the day it is to be returned that you need it another week and still get the discount.
No item will be modified in any way without written consent from Hard To Find Props. This includes painting, bending, breaking, scratching, etc.
Extending the time period of your rental is only possible if the item(s) have not been reserved by another party.
Student Discount; A 20% discount will be given for rentals up to 2 weeks. Students must supply current ID card and a letter, on school letterhead, confirming project and active student enrollment. Contact information for department head and instructor must be supplied.
(In lieu of these requirements - having the appearance of a starving student will suffice.)
A deposit (cash, check or credit card) in the full amount of the item(s) value is required, unless a Certificate of Insurance is supplied. Hard to Find Props, Burbank, CA 91502 must be listed as the Certificate Holder.
Clearance of any pictures, logos, art, etc., is the full responsibility of the customer.
